It may have been because, as stated in " Wishmasters," Lloyd knew Jay's final wish would be from the heart, implying that Jay was the true key to defeating Nadakhan.However, it is unknown why the group did not form their plan around the fact that the Ninja Replacements all had three wishes (except Jay, who had only one wish) that could have been used to stop Nadakhan. According to Tommy Andreasen, the reason why the Ninja Replacements did not use any wishes on Nadakhan is because they were never close to him.However, due to the events of Skybound being undone, none of them remember it. Also, Skylor, Ronin, and Dareth were members of both of these teams. This is the first team summoned by one of the ninja, the second being the Resistance.
Also, the members of the team never remembered the events of the season except for the team leader Jay. Jay volunteered to be struck by the Blade and succeeded in freeing the rest of the ninja.ĭue to Jay's last wish, the team was never formed and was disbanded. They must get out quickly before they fall under the enchantment spell. Captain Soto, who knew many things about the djinn, told the rest of the team that one must be trapped in the Djinn Blade to free another. When all the ninja were trapped in the Djinn Blade (besides Nya, who was getting ready for the wedding, and Jay), Jay seeks to find some ninja replacements to stop the wedding between Nya and Nadakhan. In a PlayStation Blog post, Yasuda writes that Rise of the Ronin will be the most ambitious and challenging project for Team Ninja Studio to date.
The following events were undone due to Jay's final wish, and thus, did not happen in the current timeline. Rise of the Ronin may come to PC eventually.
